Drum Cap - 3 x Adjustable Squeezing Positions:

  • Position "3" = high pressure - for maximum juice extraction from hard produce e.g. carrot, celery, ginger, beetroot etc
  • Position "2" = medium pressure - easily extract juice from mixtures of hard and soft produce and fibrous produce such as kale
  • Position "1" = light pressure - primarily used for juicing soft fruit such as pineapple - (or if juice is backing up chute)
  • Position "0" = for attaching or detaching Juicing Nozzle from machine

When fitting the Nozzles, align the arrow on the Nozzle with the number "0" on the Drum Cap, then adjust the Nozzle to the desired pressure.

To adjust the squeezing pressure to position "1", simply push the nozzle in a little and turn anti-clockwise until the arrow aligns with the number "1." Repeat this simple procedure for squeezing positions "2" and "3."

Remove the Drum Cap by turning 'clockwise' as per the arrow on the top, front of the Drum next to the Drum Cap.

LexSun Drum Cap - How to Prevent Premature Breakage:

The common cause of the Drum Cap failure (cracking & eventually breaking), is due to customers using the Juicing Nozzle with the 'small hole' in conjunction with the Mincing Cone (Screen).

Mincing Cone for LexSun Standard, LexSun Deluxe and LexSun Elite JuicersWhen you use the wrong nozzle (e.g. Juicing Nozzle with a smaller hole) whilst mincing or making ice cream etc, the small hole restricts the flow of mince / ice cream from passing through the End Cap and Juicing Nozzle, which causes extreme pressure on the Mincing Cone and Drum Cap, which will soon break under such stressful conditions.

It is imperative that when you use the Mincing Cone, you MUST use the Mincing Nozzle that has the 'large hole' in it. This is what it was designed for.

Drum Cap for LexSun Standard, LexSun Deluxe and LexSun Elite JuicersNOTE: The Drum Cap is designed to separate / break into two pieces under great pressure, to minimise or prevent damage to the rest of the Juicer.

WARNING: If the machine is groaning / struggling with hard produce, change the squeezing position down one or two notches to lesson the pressure on the Juicing Screen. Failure to do this can cause premature wear and tear or fracturing of the Juicing Screen, Drum, Drum Cap etc.

Also, do not feed produce too quickly down the chute, as this can cause congestion / constipation and can cause premature wear and tear or fracturing of the Juicing Screen, Drum, Drum Cap etc.

Also, do not put the pulp back through the machine, as this will cause congestion / constipation and can cause premature wear and tear or fracturing of the Juicing Screen, Drum, Drum Cap etc.
